Traveling OOTD

Today I am finally traveling back to California, so I thought why not upload an outfit of the day while I’m waiting for the plane! Unfortunately, the plane is yet again delayed, so I’m here for awhile at the airport… Let’s get started!

My top is from Forever 21 and I’m wearing a black & pink sports bra under it. It is a summery coral color with a leopard print on it. I feel like Victoria’s Secret PINK would sell something like this! My sweat pants are from Justice. These are black and more jegging-type pants. My shoes are sandals with flower decals from Payless. For my hair I chose to style it in two messy buns – kind of like pig tails, but with buns instead! My carry-on bag is actually a beach bag from Forever 21. It is so cute and it holds everything I need for the plane! Plus, it was only $12! What a deal!
Thanks for reading my travel OOTD. I will start posting beauty entries tomorrow so stay tuned! Have a nice day!

Chicago OOTD

Hey guys! If you read my most recent travel update, you would know that today I took a trip to Chicago! Here is an OOTD of what I wore. Keep in mind that I thought it was going to be really warm, so I dressed in summer clothes and instead of hot weather it was raining.

For my hair, I straightened it (but the rain caused it to frizz) and I pinned back the side with some bobby pins. My black and white tribal shirt is from Forever 21 and I’m wearing a plain black bandeau underneath from Nordstrom. I got my pink shoulder bag from a shop in Spain, but I’m sure you can find something similar to it. My pants are from Kohls and are plain jean shorts. My shoes are mint high top Converse!
That was my Chicago OOTD! I hope you enjoyed!

Traveling (part 5)

Wow! Today was a long, fun day. We decided to drive when we found out that the train ride was early and had very many confusing stops. Our trip took off at ten in the morning with nice sunny weather. After about a half an hour, it started to sprinkle…then POUR. It was raining cats and dogs! I could barely see the cars in front of me. Once we drove across the bridge and parked in the parking garage, it was still raining. We ran across the street as fast as we could under a roof. We planned where we were going to eat lunch – a famous deep-dish pizza place! We finally made it and ordered our food. 40 minutes later… Our cheesy deep dish pizza finally arrived! It was the best pizza I had ever eaten. It was so cheesy and yummy beyond belief. Once we were finished, it had stopped rainy and it was beginning to clear up. We started to walk on the Magnificent Mile and shopped on Michigan Avenue. We stopped at a Starbucks to get a few refreshments and I tried another drink from the secret menu! This time I tried the Turtle frap, a chocolate delicious drink. When we were finished, we stopped by a few more stores such as Forever 21, H&M, Hollister, Victoria’s Secret, etc. Our last stop was Sephora, and surprisingly I didn’t find anything there! I love their little travel sized product bins placed where you check out, but it was really overpriced. I could’ve sworn that I saw the same thing at Ulta for a much lower price! I was disappointed in that – I prefer Ulta because they carry high end and drugstore products. Chicago was full of skyscrapers! It was really fun and I enjoyed it! I’ll post a separate Chicago OOTD up soon. Here are some pictures below!

Traveling (part 1)

Hey guys! As of right now, I’m sitting in a lounge at the airport. So far, I’ve had five doughnut holes and found the free wifi. I’m writing this post on my iPad mini and it’s hard to type, so excuse spellers. I’m going to land in Chicago and then my family and I are driving to South Bend.
This morning was hectic! I set my alarm for 3:30 am, only to lay in bed for another half hour. Everyone was rushing and doing last minute packing. At last, the van arrived and picked us up. We drove to the airport, went through security in under five minutes, and hopped right into the lounge. I’m going to board in ten minutes, so I’m trying to finish this up! I don’t want to leave with an uncompleted blog post.
I’ll have more photos when I land and share a more detailed experience. The flight isn’t very long, only five hours, well I guess you could consider that long if you don’t fly often! I’m used to 12-13 hour flights to Germany and it’s pretty long!
Here is a photo below of the plane. I’ll check in a few hours! Have a great day!
